I don't remember if I mentioned, but back in the first week of July I did something to my shoulder. It hurt a ton. I went to my chairopracter and he said I was super close to dislocating my shoulder and popped something back into place. I then went to my doctor who told me it was just a sprain, don't worry about it, you'll be fine. She gave me 800 mg Ibuprofen to take away the pain...she also recommended physical therapy. Hahahaha, yeah, whatever you say.
Swim team started, as did physical therapy, and my shoulder didn't get any better. The therapist taped my shoulder for swimming, which helped a little bit. After therapy ended, I continued to tape my shoulder until the end of the swim season.
It's been almost 4 months since I injured my shoulder. And it still hurts. Daily, constant pain.
Last Saturday, I went to the doctor (different doctor) to get x-rays. The x-rays showed nothing out of place...so I have to get an MRI...which is scheduled for December 1. The MRI includes an injection of some sort of dye to see all the muscles and everything more clearly. I am deathly afraid of needles. Hopefully it will go well.
Haha, and funny story: Today, my friends and I were talking and one of my friends tapped me on the shoulder. Being in the pain I am in, I freaked out and explained to him to not touch my shoulder ever. As soon as I got done telling him that, a guitar comes out of nowhere and hit me on my shoulder hard. I turn around and there's my ex. Yeah, I got pissed. But what do you expect? I'm in pain and someone just came and made the pain worse. So, moral of the story - don't touch my shoulder.
Nah, it's cool. I found you a long time ago, just never got around to adding you.
